MEGALIS VFX
Megalis is a global VFX studio founded in 2017 in Japan with the ambition to become the reference for visual effects in Asia.
We started as a Houdini, effects-centric company before growing into a full production studio that reaches all aspects of content creation. This way of thinking has allowed us to always stay flexible and approach challenges in an artistic, but efficient way.
Furthermore, Megalis is looking into expanding its offices around the globe. We are currently in the middle of our first full cg animation series while also working in episodic and film.
Based in the heart of Tokyo and in two offices, we are now a little over eighty people. About half of our current staff is Japanese and the other half is comprised of people from all over the world: we are always looking forward to bringing talented artists and engineers from abroad.
Megalis’ culture includes offering aid with relocation, apartment hunting and all sorts of administrative and governmental paperwork. We also offer free Japanese lessons in the studio and many activities together to experience the Japanese culture and lifestyle at its best.

弊社は、Houdiniを使ったエフェクト中心の会社としてスタートしましたが、コンテンツ創作のすべてのアスペクトを網羅するスタジオへの成長を目指しています。このコンセプトを念頭に置くことで、我々は柔軟性を保ちながら、アーティスティックかつ効率的なアプローチで挑戦していくことを可能にしています。
さらに、グローバルに拠点を拡大を視野に入れています。ドラマや映画のVFXも製作もちろんのこと、現在は初となるフルCGアニメーションシリーズの製作に励んでいます。
東京都心に2拠点のオフィスを持ち、現在は80人以上のメンバーが在籍しています。世界各国からのメンバーと日本籍の従業員は半々で、素晴らしいアーティストとエンジニアは国籍関係なく取り入れようとしています。
外国在住の方の場合、日本への移住をサポートしています。ビザ申請の支援だけでなく、家探しもお任せください。日本での生活を満喫してもらう為、無料の日本語講座、日本文化体験等のイベントも毎年多数実施しています。
